Relevant Technique of Solvent Based Organobentonite Thickening Rheological Additive

Technical requirements of BT series organobentonite thickening rheological additive

Application scope of polarity and dispersion conditions of gel production of BT series
          organobentonite thickening rheological additive

      Pre-gelation & adding dry power

BT organobentonite powder is agglomerative sheet pile. For the effect of shearing, the solvent or base metal get into the interstice, and the viscosity of BT organobentonite powder become higher. Then, adding chemical activator while shearing, the powder turn into gel. This is the said pre-gelation.

After special process, the interstice of bentonite sheet pile become larger. At this time, stable gel can be formed through shearing and wetting, in no need of polar activator. This is called as adding dry powder.

The adding method of BT Organobentonite Thickening Rheological Additive is determined by its characteristics, and is also relevant to the type of resin. Eg. pre-gelation should be adopted for epoxy, polyester, acrylic acid, etc with low wettability. Adding dry powder can be adopted for bitumen resin, etc with high wettability.
