The main ingredient of ST series water based bentonite thickening rheologicalo additive is high-purity hydrophilic modified montmorillonite. The ST series product has high suspension character, thickening effect, thixotropy, compatibility and stability of gel.

St series includes four products: ST-A. ST-B. ST-C. ST-D, which have the following characteristics:
(1)Strong thixotropy: high shear, low viscosity; low shear, high viscosity.
(2)Wide PH range: PH6-12.
(3)Easy to disperse: needn't pre-gelation or activator.
(4)Stability: excellent biochemical stability, high thermal stability.
(5)Compatability: good compatability to alcohol and high-polarity solvent.

Low cost: It can be used individually as to substitute cellulose ether thickener, or in combination with polyacrylic acid thickener. In either way user saves cost.

Application method
ST Water Based Bentonite Thickening Rheological Additive needn't pre-gelation or activator. You may add dry powder for use directly. The dosage is based on requirements of the furmula and rheological property, commonly 0.4-0.3%.
Attention
(1)ST Bentonite can thicken even without high-speed dispersity. The pregel can be stored for some to to improve thickening effect and thixotropy and prevent deposit.
(2)Surfactant and dibastic alcohol, etc will influence the hydration, so they should be added after ST-C and ST-Ddisperse.
(3)ST Series Products can be solely used or used together with other alkali swelling acrylic acid, but can not used together with polyurethane Thickener. |
